Introduction: Hello, my name is Jim Charles. I have been in the building industry for over 35 years -- my father and I. I have worked for over 40 years on two different floor covering centers and in down-home interior design. I have also done major industrial work, just schools, hospitals, majors malls and stores. I am qualified for all installations of any type and all types of floor covering, from hard surface to soft surface. I have a college education and went to an architectural school, so I would definitely know about the structures of any situation in almost all homes. I do custom refinish work on hardwoods and custom ceramic tile inlays. I have done some major homes in my lifetime, from a 4.5-million-dollar house all the way down to a regular home for a customer who just needs a simple thing done. It is truly a pleasure to have worked for any customer, and you must read that customer with the total respect he/she deserves; for you being able to come into their home is a privilege, it is not just a job, but it is an honor to do the work for that person.
