- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All jobs are priced on a case-by-case basis. Because my work is highly specialized and tailored to each customer, there is no standard square footage pricing.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
New jobs are usually started with a brief description from the customer of what they are looking to do to their home. If I feel confident in performing the work, a free estimate is scheduled. A written estimate is typically given via e-mail or delivered in person in a day or two with an estimated start date. For faux finishes, a sample is always made before any work begins.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Graduate of the Faux Painting for Business class at the Decorative Arts Center in St. Louis, Missouri in 2004. While there, I learned to perfect techniques that I had already been using, in addition to bolstering my portfolio with many new finishes.
