It has been a while since the work was done, but I had to post a review. If I had to use one word to describe it, that word would be sloppy. I had some rather extensive work done that did turn out pretty good for the most part. However there were several issues that made me write this. The first was during the removal/demo phase, I had told the guys that I wanted to donate the old ceiling fans. Yet they were thrown in the trash. Parts of my blinds were also thrown in the trash and when I got home from work, I ended up pulling them out of the trash. The sloppiness would continue. They were instructed to use the bathroom and the utility sink on the first floor. But my fiancé repeatedly told them to stop using her bathroom. This was a big nuisance. They removed the blinds from the bedrooms, yet somehow there is paint all over 2 of them and I will have to replace these. There is molding that has a large gap in it, molding that was not painted or caulked as the nail holes are very evident. The biggest issue came when the shower was leaking. It ruined the second and first floor ceilings in certain rooms. After a few tries to find the leak and repair it, it was determined that the bottom of the shower was not sealed properly, which ended up being fixed. However, the ruined ceilings were not repaired due to the faulty shower work. I am left high and dry and have to fix that myself. I also called about a toilet that is leaking from the base, it doesn’t appear to be set properly. Again, my requests to fix that were ignored.Jul 21, 2019VerifiedMonova Contractors's reply
First and foremost, we appreciate your business! Thank you for leaving us your opinion on our work. We do not recall that we were asked to save your ceiling fans. The contract also indicated that the ceiling fans were to be discarded. Our project manager and foreman had no knowledge of this. If we did, we would have easily removed and retained them for you. We ask all our clients to remove wall hangings, curtains, pictures, blinds, etc before job start. This was not done and forced us to remove them ourselves at no charge. After our foreman did a walk-thru with you, both parties were in agreement that all work done was satisfactory and up to your standards. We have not heard from you about your toilet leak or the drywall repairs that you are claiming needs attention since completion. We are not sure why you haven't reached out to us about this, usually when something occurs after the job customers contact the company they worked with. If this is still an issue, we will be more than happy to return and address those items as you are covered under our workmanship warranty. Customer service is our number one priority. Please give us a call to discuss further. We tried reaching out to you but from what we remember you tend to travel a lot for work. Again, we want to make sure things are taken care of so long as we are aware of it. Thank you,
We had a very professional, timely, and transparent service experience with Monova Homes for our basement remodel. Would recommend to anyone!Mar 17, 2020
Needed a quick turn bathroom renovation done, and Monova stepped up to the challenge. More than happy with how the upgrade looks and functions. Jay was extremely responsive and laid out steps for me to take in order to ensure all materials were in place ahead of need. They even stepped up to the plate as I added work to the job, and still finished in time ahead of my move-in date. Really appreciate the team putting in long hours to get the job done. Definitely recommend.Mar 8, 2020Monova Contractors's reply

Monova Homes did a complete restoration of the interior of my three bedroom condo that had been rented for twenty years. Monova Homes made suggestions concerning what needed to done and the restoration turned out to be more attractive than when the unit was new. In fact the condo was so good looking I decided to stop renting and keep it as a second home.Aug 21, 2018
