R A Sullivan Photography

Sully is what my friends call me. My name is Robert Sullivan, thus: “The Sully” = RA.Sullivan = RASPhoto. I am a commercial photographer currently located in the Washington, DC metro area. I have been a photographer ever since that fated day in college, way back in 1996, when I took a photography class to get the pesky art credit out of the way. It was love at first sight seeing a photograph develop from a seemingly blank piece of white paper; up from nothingness, an image appeared like a magic trick. I always wanted to know how to do it. With a bit of instruction, I learned this magic of painting with light. Fast forward to almost 15 years later, I have been working ever since on exploring the world through the camera.
