Introduction: As a private music teacher with more than 20 years of experience, I am constantly working on improving the lesson experience for my students. Both online and in-person students receive their weekly lesson notes, assignments, tutorial videos and audios to though Tonara app to help them practice successfully. Whenever they have practice-related questions, students can directly get hold of me through Tonara. Parents and I can also see students' day-to-day progress in between each lesson through the app. For my online students, I use the online platform RockOutLoud.Live specially designed for music lessons. The great sound quality and convenient pdf sharing and whiteboard functions make the online music lesson experience much more close to in-person. Also, students don't need to worry about personal data leaks while using this platform; as for only the teacher needs to log in and students just use the link to join the lesson when it's lesson time. Our seven year-old took lessons with Ms. Chou for a bit over a year and we were quite happy. She took time to learn his style and build a lesson plan which catered to his particular needs.

My 12-year-old daughter, who has worked with a few different teachers over the years, very much enjoyed her first lesson with Yufen. During the first lesson, Yufen introduced my daughter to strategies she could implement to improve her playing as well as helpful constructive feedback. I've already noticed a difference in my daughter's practice sessions which seem to have more direction and purpose than ever before. The lesson was engaging and purposeful and we're looking forward to continuing to work with Yufen for many lessons to come!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
1. $70 per hour for private online and in-studio piano or violin lessons. 10% discount for students paying 12 lesson ahead of time or families sign up for 2 hours or more lessons each week. 2. Group beginner violin lessons for age 5-9: $120 for 10 weeks; 45-minute weekly lesson. (Only offered in Salida, CO. Please contact me for details) 3. Preschooler Music Play Group: $10 per lesson or $80 for 10 lessons.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
For Music Lessons: I will communicate with potential students and parents about the potential students' experience in music and what's their goals for music learning. For Performing in Events: I will communicate with the potential customers about what type of music they wish to present and if they have a song list.
