FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I read more about the field of nutrition, physical anatomy, vitamins and supplements, weight lifting, cardio and more, than most people will ever get. It's what affords me the ability to take care of my clients as I do.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Actually, it chose me. I was sharing my knowledge for sheer enjoyment. Of course that was many years ago. But one thing lead to another and I had 5 and then 10 and then 15 people asking me for my time and to train them. I loved doing it so much that one day I woke up and realized... I'm a Trainer. But because I can personalize what I do with you - I'm definitely not just a Trainer. That versatility keeps it fresh and fun.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common part of what I do is working with people who want to lose weight and get toned. It's a matter of getting to know them and digging in beyond just running a flight of steps or lifting weights or making something that can be a basic workout look like some fancy experience. The second most common thing I do is teaching self defense to women. It's not that I don't teach men. I have just found that fewer women know what to do, given an unfortunate situation. Learning to protect yourself in this world is key and I know a ridiculous amount of self defense and martial arts After 40 years I would hope so.
