- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No one pricing structure works for every client - your need is unique to you, and your pricing will be as well. I do not take your trust lightly, and I do not take your money lightly either - no nickel and dime pricing and no hidden fees. When every possible, I prefer a flat-fee arrangement.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
We begin with a phone call, you need to know me, and I need to understand your problem. As I always say, my job is to solve problems - if you don't feel better after our call - if you don't feel like you are closer to a solution - then I am not the right attorney for you. When we work together, I believe that communication is vital. I use a secure system that will give you access to see the latest updates on your case - messages, documents, billing, time spent, all without having to search through emails. You will never wonder where we stand or what is going on - you will KNOW.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I watched my parents struggle with helping my grandparents as they aged and struggle with the estate after they passed. These issues are complicated, and the face people at especially difficult times. I want to help people and this allows me to do that.
