- What types of customers have you worked with?
I work as a trial attorney in the state courts of Northern Virginia. Most clients either hire me to defend them on criminal charges involving all manner of crimes, or they want representation for divorce and/or matters of custody and support. I also represent juveniles who have been charged with crimes or are considered by the courts to be in need of services and parents who have been accused of abuse and neglect or with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Feel free to ask questions, but also make sure you are honest and open with your counsel about your situation. It does no good to keep your attorney in the dark about things which you either believe are irrelevant or may embarrass you. I do not judge my clients and want only to represent their interests to the best of my ability, and for that I need the facts.
