James did a great job balancing lots of little projects in my home--installing a new fireplace door, doing drywall patches, adjusting doors that wouldn't close. He took the time to alert me of issues and enabled me to provide input as he was completing the jobs. I'd hire him again.

Jose was really great and professional from start to finish. I needed some masonry repair on the side of my house, and he was very knowledgeable including doing some soil re-grading for water management. I decided to have him take care of some other tasks as well in the yard (removing planters, powerwash and staining deck) and we agreed on a fair packaged price. He stayed in easy communication the whole time through text/phone/email, and he paid attention to small details (painting a leftover windowsill black to fit in, adding sand to existing brick patio) to make sure everything turns out well. Definitely recommend!

I hired Antonio (Tony) Sanchez from Renaissance Restoration to complete a kitchen renovation this past fall (sorry I did not get around to completing this review sooner!). I did all the demolition, but the job included lights and electrical, plumbing repair, cabinet and counter top install, appliance install, and painting. Tony gave a very reasonable estimate and personally worked on my project with his assistant from start to finish as opposed to having one of his employees complete the job. As he began the job, he soon realized that virtually nothing from the original construction was square (townhouse was built in 1987). However, that did not phase him as he had the skills to adjust making those imperfections unnoticeable in the end. In addition, Tony has skills in most of the trades which meant that he did not have to sub different parts of the job out; he did all the electrical, plumbing and carpentry himself. The best part of my experience working with Tony was that he discussed and explained different options or ways of completing a task to ensure there were no surprises, and I was impressed with his willingness to even teach me a little along the way. He was flexible in allowing me to have a friend install the tile floor and was understanding of my need to stick to a rather tight budget. There are only two comments I could make for overall improvement: cleanliness and timeliness. On a couple of occasions, I had to discard empty food containers and drinks that had been left behind. I attributed this to oversight and could be easily improved by making an effort to clean up the work site after each day of work. Considering it was not a space I was using though, it was not that big of a deal. As for timeliness, the project took longer than expected to complete. However, I know that my involvement did have some impact on the schedule and the fact he was doing the work himself while still managing other jobs is a factor. I would not hesitate to bring Tony in for another project in the future. I am completely satisfied with his work and would recommend him to anyone.

I first hired Marvin to paint and frame 44 newly installed wooden windows in my historic row home. Because I was so impressed with his professionalism and superb quality of work, I contracted him for additional services including porcelain tile installation, surfacing and reframing a roof deck, and completing the finishes of a previous contractor. If you want to hire a competent company that takes price in their work and delivers high quality services, Baiza Construction Inc. should be your choice.

Carlos called me on Sunday right after I requested an estimate on line. He evaluated the lawn care requirements. We worked out a price for edging and mulching and scheduled the worked to be done the next day. There was problem with the timing. Hw was about 3 hours behind. He told me he had to check two store to find the right colored mulch. The work was done to my satisfaction.

I hired this company to repair and replace my front walkway with brick paver and resurface my driveway with the same. Their prices were competitive - they promised me a completion day and made it. The staff was friendly and always on time. I will use this company and I will pass them on to friends and family.

It was a pleasure working with Dee and Al Hagler. They painted and added accent walls, changed the ceiling to a decorative tiling, cosmetic changes, added crown and shadow box molding through out the office, added pendant lighting in the lobby area, and changed the bathroom floor to wide plank laminate wood along with some plumbing updates. They completed the project in ONLY 3 DAYS. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a professional general contracting company.

We had AMC, Jess Goodman, undertake two seperate projects for us. We had a solar shade that was replaced and the second project was removing old decking and installing replacement decking. Both projects were done on time, with excellent results. His team was very professional and we certainly would recommend AMC.

I've been an architectural coating installer since about 1980 in Washington, D.C. area and Baltimore, MD. I specialize in 10 different kinds of plasters. I've done a good amount of clay plasters which is very good for sound, and it improves the environment for eating and sleeping. I am an architectural coatings installer -- meaning, that I install very beautiful wall finishes for both commercial and residential interior and exterior projects. I have worked on projects in the Washington, D.C.; Detroit; New York City; and Miami. I specialize in 10 different kinds of plasters, stucco and paints. I also do a good amount of clay plasters, which are very good for the environment, working with sound density and has very pleasing properties that regulate humidity and temperature. Other important benefits of clay are that its antistatic and antifungal properties, which unlike many other building materials provide a healthy and a more balanced environment. Clay is warm in the winter and cool in the summer but very soft in natural tones. Dining and sleeping is a very serene experience. As a colorist, texture and light are very important. There is also a beautiful plaster that can be installed in wet areas, such as baths and kitchens. I also repair and finish sheetrock and do great painting.
