FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
For a musician, the learning process never stops. I'm always looking to the past for inspiration to create new work. In a given week, I might learn a Scottish fiddle tune, practice a Baroque lute piece on guitar, and develop an original composition which draws on my knowledge of traditional styles. I'm also constantly reevaluating my teaching style so that you get as much out of each session as possible.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for experience first, and enthusiasm as a close second. There's no substitute for experience, but eagerness to research your questions and go the extra mile to help with your specific needs comes pretty close. A good teacher learns while he teaches.
