Introduction: I am Mecklenburg county based riding school, I have over 26 years of experience in showing both
English and Western Pleasure. I was brought my first pony at the age of 12 while living in England, He was a green English Dartmore native pony, who taught me to have confidence in my self along with a sence of humor. I started teaching backing in 1998 in Australia where I received my license teaching RDA ( Riding for the Disabled). Since then, I have taught any one with a love for horses. Most
of my student ages range from 7 to 45.
I also offer training and re training I do not use the word " breaking" because that is not what I do. I retain
the horse in rider, I dont break the spirt. I ride mainly Aussie Stock, and show low level three day eventing which
is Dressage, cross country and Show Jumping. I also teach Western and gaming. In the past, I have done Barrel racing and
pole bending.
My passion is for the animals and the teaching of people to enjoy the pleasures of riding horses and horse knowledge.
I am also the local horse 4 H leader for the county, passing on my love and knowledge of horses to todays youth. We meet monthly to discuss horse related issues and topics.
