Bryan provided the DJ services at a party for my wife's recent birthday and I have to say that I am totally satisfied with the services he provided. He arrived early, setup quickly and then was very patient as the crowd did not immediately take to the dance floor. When the time came, however, Bryan was ready and my guests thoroughly enjoyed the targeted kind of music that I had requested. The dancing went on for hours. Highly recommended.

Bryan with Make It Count Entertainment is phenomenal! The most important thing to my husband on our wedding day was the music (no pressure right?). I found Bryan through Thumbtack, and thank goodness I did. Bryan is professional, kind, and fun to work with in general. He worked with me to make things perfect; the dance floor was hopping the whole reception, guests (and even the photographer) mentioned how great the music was, and my husband was beaming even days later saying how happy he was with the music for our event. Thank you Bryan!

Overall, we were very pleased with the DJ and MC services that Bryan provided for our wedding reception. Bidding process: Bryan was prompt and easily reachable for discussion/questions in response to his Thumbtack bid. Correspondence was very professional and he followed-up our phone conversation with additional literature on his services. He was also flexible on the DJ/MC package we selected even though it was slightly different than our original request. Prior to event: Bryan was easy to work with and it was clear that he has plenty of experience based on his responses and clear directions. Again, communication was great, both via email and phone. During the event: Bryan was very professional and polite. He was a natural at MCing and focused on his work to ensure our guests were having a good time without trying to assert himself like some overenthusiastic DJs do. Our reception venue was a private residence and we ran into an issue at the start where we had too many things plugged into one fuse. Bryan worked with our wedding coordinator to remedy the situation quickly and we didn’t have any more issues. Bryan was accommodating and songs that were requested throughout the night. The only critique (and a minor one) is that we provided two genres of songs to be played during the wedding and one genre was played more heavily than the other; and some songs that were requested to be played at specific times were played a little out of sorts. We realize these are mostly due to the momentum and reaction of our guests and also the flow of the evening which is hard to keep on top of when the night passes by so quickly.

Bryan was a fantastic DJ! He followed our request to a T And was very professional. He would be my first choice of a DJ for any other future events. He was also an amazing communicator, he always made sure of things before our wedding. I'm glad we made the right choice by choosing Bryan to be part of our special day, one of the best decision I've made planning my wedding.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I believe in simple pricing. I charge by the hour, and only for the time that I'm there to keep the party going! Other than travel fees for gigs that are particularly far, I have no hidden fees.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
A longtime friend and fellow DJ encouraged me to pick up the mantle of DJing, and I've had no regrets since!
Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I recently DJ'ed for a ceremony and reception together. I used a battery powered speaker for the outdoor reception, then quickly moved inside to keep the music going for the cocktail hour, dinner, and dancing.
