Omari was easy to work with from my initial quote request to the wedding day itself. He helped keep us organized with a timeline of events that evening. He respected our choices of music selection and everyone had a great time! We also incorporated a traditional Korean ceremony during the reception which he narrated for while we had traditional music playing in the background which was hugely helpful since most of our guests were not Korean and therefore unfamiliar with the tradition. Omari kept the pace throughout the evening and rolled with the bumps that we had (no wedding is perfect). We didn't opt for the lighting because our venue was a historic property but I'm sure that would add to the atmosphere of modern venues. The biggest thing for us was that the music be family friendly and we were completely comfortable with Omari's selections. He did ask us for a "must play" list which was also played and gave him a better idea of what types of songs we wanted. We highly recommend him to any couple! It was a great price and he was set up in no time. He even acknowledged our hard working groomsmen who had to hand tie all of our chair sashes that were delivered by the vendor. Thank you Omari!!!

Omari was amazing! We originally booked him because he is a Christian DJ, and we really wanted God to be at the center of our wedding. Omari was a huge help in making that happen. He was very responsive to all of our emails, receptive to our ideas and music selection, and helpful with providing his own ideas. He completely took over the setup for the ceremony, providing microphones for our officiant and singers, as well as hookup for our guitarist. He followed our specific requests precisely, and he took over with his own creativity during the reception. After our meal, he got everyone on the dancefloor, and they didn't leave until the wedding was over! He was helpful in transitioning between events during the reception (cake cutting, bouquet toss, etc.) and all around great. Not only was he a great DJ, but he is a very sincere and nice guy to work with. You can't go wrong with choosing Omari for your wedding!

DJ Omari with Generation C Entertainment is the real deal. He was patient, professional, and charged less than other DJs in the area. The reception went off without a hitch. When we were having trouble playing our own music during the cocktail hour (before DJ Omari was supposed to be on the clock), he stepped in and played some music and then later used his equipment to play the playlist we had on it at no extra charge. He emceed the event well and then kept the dance floor packed. He even stayed a little late as we waited for a shuttle, which was running late, to come and pick up our guests. He provided the personal and professional services we needed to get through a stressful but very fun day, and at a great value! We are very grateful to have DJ Omari and Generation C Entertainment part of our special day.

Generation C Entertainment provided excellent DJ services for my wedding reception! Their music selection was great! They did a fantastic job of making sure that everyone was involved and interacted at my reception! They were crowd favorites! My guest enjoyed my wedding reception so much, that even though it has been 2 1/2 years since my big day, many are still raving over how my wedding reception was one of the best they had ever been to! And Generation C gets major credit for that!

Omari did a superb job at our wedding! From our first meeting with Omari until the day of the wedding he was very professional, kind, and provided us with a vast selection of music for our reception. On the day of the wedding, he arrived early, helped in setting up not only his equipment but another musicians as well. He worked very well with the on site staff and catered to our on-the-spot requests without hesitation. Overall, Omari proved to be an excellent MC, a great DJ and more than that, a Godly friend. Expectations exceeded, highly recommended!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Yes, we offer 3 main DJ Service Packages. These packages cover between 4 - 6 hours of service.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
1) Ask the customer to provide their musical preference by genre and decade 2) I ask for any "must hear" songs and special songs for weddings 3) I organize the music according to #1 and #2 4) At the event, I read the crowd and play the songs that keep the dance floor packed
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have trained with some of the top DJs in the DC Metro Area. I am a DJ that mixes and scratches.
