Long and Foster Property Management sent a quality vendor to fix my maintenance concern in a timely manor. I have rented in the past and cannot say that about the other property management companies I have rented from!Jul 17, 2020
Renting from Long & Foster was easy. Everything from signing the lease with the property manager, repairs and receiving my security deposit timely. The only reason I did not give 5 stars is because the owner would not renew my lease as they were sellingSep 30, 2020
There is no way to fully express how AWESOME the Long & Foster team has been to us but I will try. From the first time we reached out to them about a property they responded same day with a TON of information even details we didn't know we would need. They have from the beginning of the renting process been very professional and above board on everything. They have also been very flexible (due to COVID happening) we had to adjust our move in date. The team was totally transparent with us and gave us all the options they could to help us. Guess what one of those options worked and helped us greatly. Moving is stressful enough but having a team who is looking out for you and has a great property is just icing on the cake. We are so happy God blessed us with this fantastic team!!!Jul 17, 2020
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)? As a full service property management company - our management fees range from 8-10% depending on the services selected, length of lease, existing tenants or not currently occupied by a tenant. Our summer customer appreciation promotion is waiving your first month of management fees so you only pay 11 months of management fees the first year.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? Our process is tailored to your needs as a property owner, but typically we would like to meet you at the property, do a walk through together, understand what your needs are as to managing the property and tenants on your behalf. We review the steps involved and the information we need to begin managing your property and the costs involved so you have a complete understanding of how we manage your property.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?We manage over 5,000 properties in the mid-atlantic region and all of our property managers are professionally licensed in real estate and property management.
