What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is based on your specific project. We count up square footage and access, among other details, for powerwashing. And we count up windows, storm windows, height and access for window cleaning. It is important that we are able to see your home to give you an accurate estimate.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was a twist of fate that led me into this business. I tried for several years to get the windows cleaned at my parents estate, and couldn't even get a return phone call. I got some great training and hung my shingle making customer service a top priority.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
My most important suggestion actually comes from a dear client of ours. The first time we cleaned their home, they were pacing around, nervous as can be. I finally found out that they had another provider that had worked on their home that fell from a ladder and got hurt. To make the story worse, this provider didn't carry the proper insurance, and proceeded to sue this client for medical expenses. Needless to say, to save yourself any aggravation, it is important to hire a company that has the proper insurance that protects your home and also the people working on your home.
