Hey there, I’m Amelia! I am a local Charlottesville photographer. I am always willing to travel outside of Charlottesville though! I love photography and meeting new people. Amelia was amazing. She had great ideas for our family of 15. 8 adults and 7 children. 9, 6, 4 3, 3, 1 and 9 months. So you can see by these young ages how challenging a session might be. She stepped right in and did her thing. She really did well with the chaos and kids. Plus we had a dog to include in a few pics.
Our pictures turned out great. She had ideas for us and took our requests into consideration. Her communication was fantastic. She was so kind and easy to work with. It was a pleasure to meet with her and made our experience awesome. I would definitely recommend her and work with her again.

Amelia is so talented! Her warm smile and approach on our special day made the photography feel natural. Our special day was an elopement in the mountains, her photography has allowed all our family members to feel as if they were there with us. Her photography captures the beautiful fall mountains in the background. She captures the day so beautifully and while going through all the photos I cried happy tears as all the memories came back to me. My wife and I are happy that we found Amelia! We reached out to Amelia on somewhat short notice (within 3 months of our wedding date). She worked well with our videographer and creatively captured the most important parts of our wedding + ceremony. We were also trying not to "break the bank" and we felt Amelia's rates were very reasonable.
Overall, she took care of us well. We would 100% recommend.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My pricing is based on the time I put into your work and what you are getting. I charge $350 for up to an hour for engagement and proposals and also family depending on how many family members there are.
What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with clients for weddings, engagements, surprise proposals, family/newborn, graduations/grads and events.
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look for a photographer that cares about your session. That is going to put the time and effort into getting to know you and creates photos from your session that you will want to put on your walls.
