New Beginnings Family Mediation, LLC

New Beginnings Family Mediation handles custody, visitation, support, property distribution, reconciliation, and family-related matters. It has experienced, sensitive, client satisfaction focused, non-judgmental mediators who respect their clients while helping to set appropriate boundaries for meaningful interaction. They strive to "hear the clients' hearts" and patiently help them work through their issues when feasible. Typically, sessions are co-mediated with two mediators: an experienced Virginia Supreme Court certified general and family (juvenile and domestic relations court and circuit court-family) mediator who is also a practicing attorney (not acting in that capacity when mediating) and another who was similarly certified, is an inactive attorney, and began mediating in the 1980s focusing on family and church conflicts. Each mediator also has 15+ years of experience as a law faculty who teaches/has taught and manages/managed law school clinical programs. The service follows the Virginia Standards of Ethics and Professional Responsibility for Certified Mediators, and if the parties so desire, incorporates appropriate biblical principles in the mediation process and drafts agreements for the parties.
