- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
First we make initial contact and gather all of the necessary information to give the customer a quote for their event. We take every detail into consideration with this. We also try to work with someone's budget and provide a great event at an affordable price. Once the quote is given out, we wait to hear back from the customer. If they decide to hire us, we send out specific information in regards to their event: i.e. contracts, booking information, flowsheets (wedding ceremony and reception). There will be at least 1 phone meeting prior to the event. In the case of weddings, there will be multiple. Other details are more specific to each event.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I constantly watch for the newest updates in digital software and in production equipment. This is an ever changing field that will continue to grow and expand. We must stay on the cutting edge of all that's offered.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
During college I would DJ for extra money on the side. However, it rooted down deep. I couldn't seem to be able to go any longer without getting back into it so I purchased all new equipment and set back out with a heart to do more than make money.
