Maroon Corey fulfilled our live music needs perfectly. For this particular occasion, we were only looking for background music. Maroon's communication prior to the event was excellent to ensure his service met (and exceeded) our expectations -- number of musicians, type of instruments, song requests, dress code, timing, etc. More importantly, the price was very reasonable. The music made our event truly memorable. Everyone (of all ages from 3 to 63) enjoyed the music, which I'm sure will lead to future gigs for Maroon. Truly a professional on and off "stage." Would definitely use Maroon again or recommend to anyone looking for live music to enhance their event.

Bryce is an incredible teacher. As an adult, trying to learn something new can be intimidating. But he makes me feel comfortable and is very encouraging and patient. He is obviously an accomplished player, and very knowledgeable about music theory, but he breaks it down and explains it in ways that make it easy for me to understand. I have taken lessons before, but Bryce is by far my favorite teacher. I would highly recommend him to anyone interested in learning to play.

Virtuosos each in their own right, but together they charm and carve out the groove for the night and take you the musical ride of your life!:) Front and center, Heather draws on a never ending well of soul and power that transcends every genre of music. Oooof !!! listen to this band and they will take you out of whatever funk life has slapped upon you... and deliver you to a happier place :) Amen.

I used Jennifer to play the ceremony music at my wedding. We decided to add the celloist option so that the music sounded fuller. I didn't get to hear much of the prelude music but the music I did hear was absolutely beautiful. My husband absolutely loved listening to her as he waited for the ceremony to begin. She was super responsive in learning two songs not on her list for us! I would definitely recommend her. She was one of the best investments I made on my wedding day!

My girls have had three piano teachers and Adella is by far the best. Her experience and musicianship have made all the difference in my daughters' learning. And she is not about just getting the notes right - it is about tempo, dynamics, theory, the composer's background and intent. She takes the time to really perfect a piece. And she allows the kids to have a choice in what music to play. It is also a bonus that she comes to our home.

Chris is my daughter's flute teacher. She is a professional flute player as well as a nice, patient, supportive, amazing teacher and person. My daughter plays in the middle school band. Chris help boost her confidence in playing the flute and teach her about music. They play many duets which is not only fun but very educational in my daughter's flute development. Chris is very knowledgeable of the audition requirements for music students preparing for more advanced opportunities. My daughter has thoroughly enjoyed lessons and learning with Chris. Chris is also very flexible and friendly. She is challenging, yet fun. Very excited to see how lessons progress! I would definitely recommend her to anybody looking for a flute instructor. Thank you Chris :))

We have had 4 or 5 lessons with Dana and she has been fantastic. My daughter likes how "fun" she is, and most importantly she allows my daughter to grow and learn at a pace that feels customized to my her. We've had a few other music teachers before her (other instruments) and we like Dana the best! Kids like a teacher who is fun, and parents want a teacher who will keep the progress coming and Mrs Brawley is the best of both.

Jordan comes to our house weekly and teaches our 12 year old son guitar. Jordan's passion for music, his talent and his patience have promoted a love of guitar in our son. Our son looks forward to his weekly lessons, enjoys playing with Jordan and practices his guitar during the week without being prompted. Jordan is reliable, timely, flexible when needed, a great guitarist and teacher.

I have been taking lessons with Susan for 4.5 years. Susan is an excellent player and teacher, who wants her students to play well also. She is very patient and willing to take lots of time getting details right. She wants her students to play well and master their technique, not just finish a piece to be able to move on to the next one. She is an excellent teacher for adults.

The best authentic Cuban music you'll find outside of Havana! They are true artists, and their passion for all forms of Cuban music is evident in every performance. I have used them for multiple parties, and my guests come away "wowed" and singing their praises. Jose and Timbason are a delight to work with, and genuinely lovely people. You will not be disappointed!

About

I am a piano, cello and music theory teacher. I have a BA in Music (Cello Performance, Minor in Piano) earned from a music college in Russia. I am highly professional. Since 2010, my students participated in over 25 recitals and concerts at College of William and Mary, Crosswalk Community Church, King's Way Church, Tabernacle Baptist Church, Greenfield Senior Living, Patriot's Colony, and many other venues. My students also participated in The National Federation of Music Clubs for the last 4 years in a row. All of them received superior rating, and four of them already received Golden Cups. I have been judging piano solo events for the last 3 years. Our recent performing project was playing in the Bard's Market at the Virginia Shakespeare Festival. Three of my students did an exceptional job entertaining the audience by playing a classical piano repertoire. I also provide wedding/special occasion entertainment (cello, piano, and violin) as a trio, duet, solo in any combination.

About

Jack Winn-tet is a four-piece band consisting of alto sax-vocals, drums, piano and bass. The repertoire is extensive, including standard selections from the thirties and forties, light rock, Latin and other specials. Jack Winn-tetwill will add entertainment to your special parties and wedding receptions and of course, dances. They have performed for numerous private functions to include wedding receptions, anniversary celebrations, corporate parties and reunions. During the past five years, the band has played many engagements for dining and early bar hours at local restaurants in the Richmond area. Originally, Jack Winn formed the Jack-Winn-tet in the early '60s, and reformed it after his retirement as supervisor of performing arts in a major school system. Upon reflecting back to the sounds of jazz and old standards that were popular when he was a college music major, he was encouraged by many to bring back that sound for audiences today. The effort was made, and the musicians were found who capture the beat and mood with finesse to make the band’s music satisfying to the dancer and the listener. Jack Winn-tet makes the effort to please the dancing and listening crowd with music that is never too loud for a conversation. Below is the website for Jack Winn and The Jack Winn-tet based out of Richmond, Virginia. Information will be noted in detail in this area. Be sure to check back frequently.
