FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am always online reading and learning new things in many fields.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've never known a time in my entire life that I WASN'T writing. As a child, I would cut paper into fourths, staple them together and write "books". I would then attempt to sell them for $.10 each to anyone and everyone at home and at school. I created "mail boxes" out of old shoe boxes and begged my parents to "send me mail". I have always kept a diary or journal and I absolutely love buying paper, notebooks, and pens. I have always been a writer and always shall be!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
I would advise any potential client to shop around until they find a provider that they "click" with. Although it's not mandatory, I believe having a strong positive rapport and excellent communication between client and provider are essential elements to a successful working relationship. I would also tell potential clients to be as specific as possible when relaying information pertaining to the project and to express their honest opinions and thoughts throughout the working relationship. If I don't know that a client is dissatisfied, I can't fix it. I strive for total client satisfaction so that is why an open dialogue and a good rapport is essential to me.
