Dear Melody, We should have written this letter to you years ago. Now where do we begin and how much time do you have? for I/we have so much to say to you. Melody, even though we have known you for years now, to this day you never cease to amaze us with your creative photographic workmanship, and now you have this wonderful website too, Memories by Melody at: http://www.memoriesbymelody.com that we can use every day if we wish, and we do so, very often now. Melody, you have been such a blessing to our family through your imaginative photography and we want everyone to know it. Because of your artistic photography of our family, from our family portraits, to our childrens graduations, their engagements, weddings, our grandchildrens births in some cases, to our family reunions, and other special events, we now possess earthen treasures in heavenly vessels through your God sent photography that shall preserve our family members images and memories for lifetimes to come, from generation to generation, as we pass it on to our childrens children. Our entire family thanks you Melody for always being so precious, going out of your way for us, even though you live in Charlottesville, Virginia or Earlysville, VA, you have made yourself available just for us on so many occasions. Over the years you have flown to Alaska, Illinois, Texas, Arkansas, and even driven to Tennessee, Ohio, and come to many other locations at our requests, just to take pictures at our family events. We told him, if we wanted all the features you put up for us on your site on our site he would create, he said he would have to charge us up to $5,000.00 or more. And even more money monthly thereafter, if he had to continue to working on our site to improve it, as you keep doing to your own site. So Melody, for us to pay to have this instant treasure chest of pictures put up on the internet, so that our entire family could pull up all our pictures to view together or separately anytime each one of us wants to, from any computer, from almost any place on earth as we travel, it would have cost us an extra $5,000.00 or more. Therefore Melody, we must ask this question, Surely you do not do all this for everyone you do business with, and if so, how on earth can you afford to do it, that is without charging extra for it? We went looking for a photographer and we wanted what any newly married couple would want great pictures of our wedding and we got what we were looking for by using Memories by Melody. Melody was the very best we could have ever hope for! Her photos are all classics, they are unique, they are artistic, and they are crisp and clear. She uses her cameras in different ways, with different angles, vantage points, and the list goes on. We did not know much about photography, but we found out a lot by hiring Melody. We couldn't have envisioned better pictures than what she did for us! Every shot took our breath away. We couldn't believe how well she captured our event and the people in it. July 25, 2009 Melody was professional and arrived on time on our wedding day. She was quick with her responses whenever we emailed or called her with questions. Her prices were very competitive for what she provided us. We were very pleased with all her work. After we got back from our Honeymoon and our Wedding Album was completed she gave us a CD containing all the pictures or our wedding so we could do as we please with them. This was a real treat having all those additional pictures on a disk. We've been recommending Melody to everyone since 2009 and we will keep on doing it. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I obtained my photography degree in college, and have been continuing my education ever since. I attend training workshops and conventions yearly to continue to grow as a photographer and artist.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I have always loved photography, and was encouraged to follow that passion from a young age. I went to a technical photography college to learn everything I could about photography!
What types of customers have you worked with?
I service a wide variety of clientele. Everything from Commercial to Portraits, Headshots, Weddings, and Real Estate..
