When you hire WELLES LAW, PC to help you through your financial crisis, you work directly with your bankruptcy attorney and not a support person, like some law firms have you do. When you have a question or need to discuss an issue about your case, you get to talk directly with your attorney. I offer one hour free consultations. Fees for case in the Northern Virginia area usually $995.00 for Chapter 7 cases, and $2,500.00 for Chapter 13 cases. Fees are slightly higher for DC cases, and for cases that will take me down to the Richmond Bankruptcy Court. The costs for any case, including the Court's filing fee, and credit reports, total $435.00.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I offer a free one hour in-office consultation to prospective clients. I now offer Zoom consultations. I tell clients what information they are to provide me for the consultation. Because of Covid 19, 341 Meetings of Creditors, and matters being held in the Court, are now being held telephonically. The Court is now allowing lawyers to sign documents on behalf of their clients, with their clients' permissions. IN SHORT, UNTIL THE PANDEMIC IS OVER, YOU CAN GO THROUGH THE BANKRUPTCY PROCESS WITHOUT EVER LEAVING YOUR HOME!
