Elin designed a creative program to help my 9 year old son prepare for his martial arts tournaments. My son definitely made improvements in his strength, agility and stamina. Elin was also able to fine tune his kicking and blocking skills since he has experience in various self defense/fighting skills. Elin is quick to respond to emails/text/calls and has tremendous knowledge in the art of exercise, bodybuilding and nutrition. I highly recommend Elin and his team for anyone looking for a professional personal trainer.
I took 10 self-defense classes with Anthony and it was an amazing learning experience and workout. He took the time to make sure all our techniques were solid and then built on that, regardless of skill level. He let the class run away with the fun occasionally but other than that, his classes were everything I was hoping for.
I really enjoyed having a personal, one- on- one self defense lesson with Mr. Z. He arrived on time and prepared with equipment and supplemental material. He is upbeat, efficient, and professional. I honestly feel more confident after working with him. I am absolutely recommending his individual lessons to my friends. Z effidiciously taught me enough to feel confident to defend myself against the bad guys. If you're considering taking self- defense classes, consider the value of having a personalized lesson with Mr Z as opposed to the cost and commitment of signing up for a series of several classes.
I went to Brian for self-defense lessons. I had no previous experience, but I never felt talked down to or uncomfortable with Brian. His techniques were very practical and real-life applicable, as well as quick to pick up. Brian gave lots of instruction to make sure I understood everything and made the learning process easy. After just a few weeks I already began to feel very capable of defending myself in a wide variety of situations due to Brian's training. I highly recommend Brain, and would definitely go back to him.
A friend has advised me to take self-defense training, not a typical self defense course, a special training made by Falcon. I thought that he was joking, thats been the true: a training give by an Israeli school security expert thought outdoors in real places. I did a special training, very special. I never found and did in my entire life nothing like that. Falcon was patient and constant to take me to be independent for my personal security. I learn a lot important interesting things. With Falcons school I did an articulate training, taking care of all the technical, psychological, physical and behavioral aspects. Falcon is a high level security professional even if he doesnt want to show it. His reserved behavior is synonym of guaranty, professionalism and importance. I have to be sincere, this training was really exhausting but I dont regretet it.
This is not a typical self-defense class. This is a re-training of my mind to better understand the physical forces at work, so I can then retrain my body to respond in a most efficient way. I am already feeling more empowered and in charge of my body. This is flowing over to my mind as I begin to take more control over decisions I make and relationships I am in. This is a self-defense class for my entire being- not just my body.
This was my first Thumbtack experience so I did not know what to expect. I called Alex and booked an initial meeting for a self defense class. I was so impressed with his knowledge and ability to teach to me (someone with absolutely no experience in self defense) that I hired him immediately.
