- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My typical process is to first understand the student's academic goals and the style of teaching that will best suit their learning. From there, we collaborate to build an action plan together to help them reach their goals.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Rutgers University. Throughout my coursework, I tutored professionally for different tutoring companies and privately for family, friends, and peers. I realized through the companies I tutored with that their business model was not built around understanding students and truly engaging with them to help them reach their highest academic potential. For me, teaching someone what they need to learn goes hand in hand with teaching them HOW to learn. For me, teaching is about bringing value to other people's lives. I found that I have had most success with my personal philosophy and pedagogy and it is my goal and dream to extend this to all of my students.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with students as young as 4 years old to students as old as 50 years old. There is never an age where you cannot learn as long as you have the right tutor to guide, motivate, and inspire you.
