Introduction: We have been trusted since 1999. Dog Paws n Cat Claws (DPnCC) has been offering quality in-home pet care, servicing the DC metro area since 1999. We are fully insured and bonded, so you can rest easy knowing that your pet(s) are in loving, capable care. DPnCC offers over a 7,400 sq.ft. facility, and is your one-stop destination for doggie daycare, boarding, grooming and retailing. Daycare and boarding are all inclusive at DPnCC. That means there are no additional costs for outside time in our outdoor dog run, playtime with other dogs, lots of TLC from our staff, feeding and medications. Our retail prices also match or beat major pet stores like Petco, Petsmart, Unleashed, etc.

Pet Sitting

FAQs

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Clients love us from anything from recurring mid-day dog walking to in-home cat and pet sitting, daycare, boarding, grooming and our low priced pet products and supplies. We love leaving notes after each in home visit and always post pictures on our Facebook page (www.facebook.com/dpncc) to show the fun we have each day!

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Do your research, interview people and make sure the business you are looking to hire asks questions. They should want to know where supplies are, leashes, bags, cleaning supplies, etc. Always plan for an emergency. If you needed to leave town in 5 minutes and you had to call your pet care provider from the car, would they have everything they needed? Would YOU feel comfortable they have all of the information they need? When you plan for an emergency, a mid-day visit is just a walk in the park (pun intended)!
