FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I always took photographs. As a child I had many types of cameras. 110, Kodak Disc, Konika 35mm, And then into digital. We use Nikon D90, D40X and D3000. So I have a history of taking pictures. I was a landscape artist (still do) take wildlife shots and landscapes, and was asked to take wedding photographs for my Pastors daughter.. I told them I needed to pray about the decision . After wards I said yes. Knowing how much is involved in taking pictures. Plus didnt want to let my Pastor down. We did much praying and the pictures turned out great.. Then his Other daughter (who is a photographer ) asked us to take her pictures...Then it moved on from there. We do reunions, church directories, anniversary parties,Weddings and studio shoots as well as outdoor shoots. We just kept moving forward.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Weddings and we go where our clients want us to do the photo shoot. We have ideas of landscape or urban backgrounds for great picture opportunities. We also let the customer have a choice. We listen to what the customer is asking for and we take care of it.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
We received a call on a Monday to see if we could take pictures of a family who wanted to get their pictures taken the next day and a CD by Wednesday. They needed for a gift. I knew we could do it , I also knew it would be a long night on Tuesday and some proof checking Wednesday. We said yes. We took the photographs about an hours worth of staged and candid shots. We edited that night Mostly blemish edits. Made the CD and handed over to the customer on time. I dont usually like to do jobs like that but I could hear the urgency in the customers voice. They turned out great. We also changed some styles of photographs to give a good mix. Happy customer again!
