Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: We have been a family business for decades. Our customers have always been hotels, motels, and resorts with the focus being commercial refinishing. Now we would like to move our interests from that arena to a more one-on-one approach. Having been asked numerous times by people in the community if we worked on residential furniture, it seemed only natural to offer such. This is no handyman operation - we are professional and unique with our service.

I had my entire home refinished by BR & C Furniture Refinishing last month. They took my old looking furniture and made it look like something from the ZGallery store. Better than NEW! So impressed! A++ work! Everyone loves what they did! I have nothing but fantastic words to say! Thank you for the amazing face-lift!

FAQs

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

Yes, Mohawk Finishing offers seminars, trade shows, and workshops to keep us to date on the latest we can offer our customers. A local rep is all but happy to assist us with any questions and even come take a look at pesky situations (which can arise).

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

We've been refinishing furniture in our family for over 25 years. My father-in-law owned a small unfinished furniture store in Caroline County back in the 1980s. When customers asked where they could get a finish on their purchase, he realized an untapped market. So he went to some workshops offered by Mohawk and learned the trade. Shortly thereafter, he saw the potential to offer his services exclusively to hotels and motels and signed his first contract with Marriott. He taught us all he knew and retired. We continue to offer our services to the hotel industry, but would like to shift back to the individual.

  • What types of customers have you worked with?

Refinishing: dining room tables, bedroom suites, bars, dressers, chairs, cabinets, and desks. Repairing: chairs, cabinets, desks, and dressers.
