Mario came out to tackle a couple pesky items I had been putting off for too long. He explained how he would fix both issues, quoted me a price, and completed both quickly. He also took the time to give me a few pointers on things to watch out for as my house ages. Overall a great experience.

Quick to respond to a flooding emergency. We received a lot of rain overnight resulting in our drains backing up causing water to POUR out of the utility sink in the detached garage. We didn’t realize this was happening until mid day the follow day. Needless to say, the water had flooded our garage and the basement of our garage. M&Y Plumbing responded to my message within 5 mins of sending. Mario showed up and fixed everything! He quickly got started on snaking the sewage mainline and removing whatever was causing the blockage. We were extremely grateful that Mario was able to provide same day service! We will definitely be contacting again should the need arise!

I needed three things and Mario came through for us the next day. First, I needed a toilet replaced. Second, I am a single Dad, and I have been struggling to find the time for me and my pre-k son to go out and buy a replacement toilet-especially in these times. Third, the trap and stem assembly on my bathroom sink, which was cracked and leaking, could not be replaced with off-the-shelf parts. I tried. Mario got my message via Thumbtack on Wednesday evening and asked me to call him so he could get some additional details. I called him and we had a very constructive conversation. Mario said he could help me the following day (Thursday, April 17). Mario arrived as promised and replaced the toilet with a brand new one and hauled away the old toilet. He also rebuilt the entire sink trap and stem assembly. Mario arrived and did all of this in the time it took me to make dinner for me and my son to eat. If you are the type to scroll to the end of a review, here you go: M & Y's work quality cannot be beat in my opinion. Responsiveness? Please re-read what I wrote above. He re-plumbed my bathroom on one day's notice. Value: I do not know how you are going to find better value. Seriously, I asked Mario a couple of times about the final price because I thought it was too low.
