- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Find out if they are insured. Ask what type of events they have done and how long have they been in business. Are they doing this on their days off for extra money or do they do this as a profession. If the pay is lower than the going rate there usually is a reason. Find out why. Also know if it is really low you may not have an entertainer for your event if they get an offer higher than what is quoted to you. This happens all the time. What references do they have. Have they done your type of event. Find out how they take care of their paint kit from job to job. What is their policy if there is a change. What do they do if they are not able to come. We do not want to think of these things but it is better to know what to expect before you hire.
