Alvin was fantastic! Timely, professional, courteous, patient, and the pictures came out looking fantastic! I hired Alvin for my parents surprise 30th anniversary party. The situation was tricky, but Alvin was able to get some awesome shots during crucial moments throughout the evening. I would absolutely hire Alvin again in a heartbeat. I don't think you can get any better than Alvin for the price!

My wedding photos came out great!!! Alvin is really professional and his work speaks for itself. Because my wedding was put together rather quickly, he was very flexible and accommodating. There were certain shots that we wanted and they were executed with no complaints. He is also very creative and can work with with any place and background. I will definitely be using A. Tatum Photography again!

Alvin photographed our wedding on 5/30/15. It was an amazing experience. I didn't have to ask him to do any shots. He knew everything to shoot and had it planned so we were never waiting for our picture to be taken. During the reception several pictures were also taken. I'm thrilled to see the outcome. I would recommend him to anyone for any occasion.

Hired him for my daughters 1 year birthday party. Very professional and patient with the kids and parents. I am still receiving compliments on the pictures. Lots of friends ask how much did I pay, when I tell them to guess they always say around $400, the price for my daughter's birthday party was no where near that amount. I will definitely be coming back for future parties and events. Thanks for the memories! !

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes I take college course and I have a mentor who has been in the business 20 years.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
Because I love it and it doesn't feel like work. I love the creativity of photographing and bring something new to each shoot. I spent 20 years in the military and wanted to then, but the job was not available at the time. So once I approached retirement I decide to follow my passion.
What types of customers have you worked with?
A.Tatum Photography takes a photo-journalistic point of view. I believe in catching the unique perspectives during your event and adding those special touches in post production that will make your memories last a lifetime. Also I have 20 years as a Navy weather forecaster. As a photographer that gives me an edge when helping you plan your event.
