Introduction: Hello! I offer guitar lessons in my home in Harrisonburg, VA. I like to encourage my students to learn the fundamentals of music and grow from there. I will teach you basics about songs that will make it much easier to figure out any song you want to learn. Stylistically, I lean usually toward pop, classical, and American roots music: blues, bluegrass, country, rock 'n' roll, but can work with any styles you would be interested in learning.
I've played lead guitar, bass, and drums in bands in Virginia and Georgia, including "The Little Country Giants", "Dogwood Tales", "Western Star", "The Host", "The Dish Dogs"and with my own band "The Good Saloon". I am a graduate of James Madison University with a degree in Music on the classical guitar.
