Introduction: Hi, I'm DJ LawFirm! I've been performing at bars/restaurants, clubs, weddings, family reunions, birthdays, house parties, fraternity/sorority events, corporate and private events since the latter portion of 2013. My customers are always pleased by the wide range of genres that I draw from; including pop, top 40, oldies, hip hop, Latin, Caribbean, reggae and dancehall. Another compliment I always receive is on my ability to control the crowd and transition smoothly from one vibe to the next. The most satisfying part of what I do is knowing that I personally contributed to making someone's day better by sharing the joyful gift of music!

I hired DJ LawFirm for my my daughter Shannon's 17th birthday party. Her and her friends had a good time. Before the event he met with me and went over what my duaghter wanted. The price was very reasonable to were my budget allowed for me extend the time I wanted a DJ to an additional hour. I was very excited because I actually waited 24 hours to respond to his offer but as soon as I did he was contacting me. Thanks for being Professional. We will use his services again if and when it's needed again.

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I typically charge my clients $75-$100/hr. Depending on how far I have to travel, I may also include a travel/convenience fee. I try to work within the budget of my customers as best as I can, especially if they were personally referred to me by another customer.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Most of my customers are referals. They normally contact me with their event details and ask me for a price. Then we come to an agreement on a rate and sign a contract. If they like the job I've done after I've performed for their event, they typically refer me to their friends and relatives.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in music from the University of Virginia. During my time studying, I learned the important aspects of sound production and useful strategies for improving sound quality during live performances.
