Introduction: I can reinforce training while offering pet sitting and dog walking services. I believe in building relationships with the dogs and dog-parents that work with Partners in Canine. Once you are a client, I make myself available to help with any issues you may be dealing with after my work for you is done.You can call, text, or e-mail and I will do what I can to work through the problem. The fact that it does not feel like a job at all.

While training my dog Michelle also trained me due to Pocket being my first dog. It was an awesome experience because Michelle is very patient and enthusiatic. I went though puppy, intermidiate and trick training with Michelle. She knows and loves dogs and their people.

What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attend the Clicker Expo every year, as well as local seminars. I sometimes feel like I eat, sleep, and breathe dog and am constantly reading and researching the web. I am in touch with well respected training mentors who are willing to help if I get stumped! I am always learning, and if I do not know the answer, I am not afraid to tell you.....but I will find one for you! That is my job !
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was in medical sales and traveling all of the time. I decided to re-prioritize my life and go back to my childhood dream (okay, that was being a dolphin trainer...but training dogs is not much different!).
What types of customers have you worked with?
Basic, intermediate and advanced obedience ( sit, stay, down, leave-it, drop-it, leash walking, come when called, greeting people without jumping all over them). Behavior problems. I am especially skilled with timid dogs and dogs who were not properly socialized as youngsters. I also excel at new puppies (potty-training, mouthing/nipping, extra-energy...and owner exasperation!). In addition, I provide pet sitting and dog walking services.
