Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Our main focus is on safety and correct equitation from the very beginning. Riders master each step of riding before moving on to more advanced skills such as cantering and jumping. I love teaching riding lessons and seeing riders develop into capable horsemen. Riding teaches assertiveness, responsibility, and confidence. All of these characteristics are important not just around the barn, but in daily life as well.

Twin Oaks is phenomenal. The horses are very well cared for and live their jobs. Mackenzie is an amazing instructor who really cares about helping you to learn how to be a better rider. I couldn't ask for a better barn!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Group lessons are $440 for 8 lessons, and for children 9&up including teenagers and adults. Children 5-12 are eligible for Summer and Saturday camps, which range in price depending on the camp.

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

I always recommend that a potential student comes to watch a portion of a lesson to see how I run my program and if it will be a good fit. If you have prior experience, I may want a brief evaluation to see what level class would be best suited for you.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?

I have ridden or worked for trainers in many disciplines- hunters, jumpers, eventing, and dressage. I have been teaching for almost 10 years and currently compete in Eventing.
