My wife and I are both civil engineers who work in construction and thought they did a great job based on our experience with other masons. Majestic built us a concrete walkway from the front porch to the driveway and repaired our brick stoop wing walls which had started to fail. Vijay and his cousin performed the work and we thought their quality of workmanship was excellent. They are both good men, with a great work ethic, and used their past experience to incorporate the new work into a very old home. If I had to leave a constructive criticism, it would be to communicate costs up front and as accurately as possible. We have extremely poor soil on our property (highly plastic clay/silt), and while we were told there would be additional costs and why, it would be better to communicate more accurately how much the additional scope would cost before the work is performed. Overall we are very happy with the end product and will invite them give us prices for future work.

Vijay did an outstanding job in replacing concrete steps in front of my townhouse. He contacted me the same day after I put out a request for a contractor, and he was at my house the next day taking measurements for the steps. He then emailed me an estimate later that night, which was very reasonable. He thoroughly explained how he would construct the steps, and what the appearance of the steps would be like when completed. He successfully completed the job that was detailed in the proposal within 2 working days and the results are outstanding. He also provided excellent email communication throughout the process. The steps look great, and they greatly improve the appearance of the front side of my townhouse. I would definitely hire Vijay again, and definitely recommend him to other homeowners.

We prefer to gather a customers ideas and needs then find out there budget. Once that's discussed we can provide a product that will last and they'll love.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
2nd generation mason and business owner with 15 years of experience.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
My fathers sole profession has been owning and operating a masonry company for over 15 years. I was raised and brought up around construction. I was introduced at the age of 12 as labor and grew to become a skilled mason and very knowledgeable in the procedures and processes to managing and maintaining a healthy and safe work site.
