Introduction: Over 25 years experience training horses and dogs. Training can cover everything from puppy/basic obedience to advanced obedience as well as service dog training. We will not only train commands but also teach your dog to have self control. More specific concerns such as: house breaking, crate training, jumping, biting/chewing, separation anxiety, human/dog aggression, and other behavioral issues can also be addressed. Training sessions are tailored to the need of the family and the dog(s). Training is completed using positive reinforcement techniques.

Jennifer worked super super well with my aggressive dog. As soon as she got there we got to work. She showed me ways to redirect the behavior. She worked her magic right before my eyes. my dog went from trying attack her to walking with her and coming up to her when called. i couldn’t believe my eyes. it has been HELL trying to find a dog trainer that will work with my aggressive rescued pup within a budget that i can afford. She showed me alllll the tips and tricks within one session. 10/10 would recommend this amazing lady!!!

I purchased time with the trainer for my mom and her 3 year old pup. My mom has learned so much and has only FABULOUS things to say about her experience. During the first visit the trainer was incredibly patient with my mom and provided excellent tips and 'homework'. A highlight for my mom was taking the dog to Tractor Supply for training in public. I highly recommend Heart to Heart Training. Thank you so much for assisting my mom!!!

Jennifer is truly amazing. She has helped to train my pup and has also boarded her for a week. I was so anxious about boarding as a first time dog owner and she was so patient and kind and best of all a true summer camp getaway for my dog! The photo is of my pup who is legit smiling after leaving! So grateful for her and her family!

What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The price quoted is per session but there are training packages that will save them money.
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I meet the owner and the dog in their setting to evaluate exactly what their issues and concerns are. I like to see first hand what is going on on a daily basis and how the owners deal with it. Then I like to discuss their goals that they have for their dog. Using all this information we come up with a training program designed specifically for them and their goals. Typically in the same first visit we get started immediately on the first level of our new plan and by the end of the visit the owner has “homework” to do before our next scheduled session.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have had basic certification in dog training and am continuing my education for higher levels of obedience as well as service dog training certification.
