- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
VFD offers custom floral artistry. The floral investment for a standard size wedding starts at approximately $1800-2000+. Corporate events, parties, galas and showers can range in price.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
MEET: Let's get together to discuss your story, vision, style or theme, colors and desired floral investment. PROPOSAL: Within 72 hours you will receive a floral summary and all necessary information to secure your event/wedding date. SIGN: Love your design? Just sign on the dotted line and make it official and receive your detailed custom proposal. We accept the retainer through PayPal, cash or check. FINALIZE: It's getting close... four weeks prior to your event is the perfect time to complete the payment and iron out the details. TA--DA! Now it's time to relax... Vintage Floral Design will take it from here as we exceed your expectations by creating the floral vision of your dreams!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
My education in horticulture began as a child, working alongside my grandmother and uncle on our farm and nursery in SC. I furthered my knowledge and experience through the local garden club as an active member and chapter Vice President. I have worked in commercial floral design in the Northern Virginia area as the primary bridal consultant and designer with one of the premiere florists in Fairfax County. I have been trained by the best!
