I made a mistake thinking that this was a communication device. Glen and I are in good discussions. This will be revised and updated later.

It has been a living hell. I went based off prior reviews, resume, and seeing work in person which you think is the basis for doing your homework before picking someone. Everyone’s experience different and that should not be the case; even see one prior review of 1 star that once resolved made it to five star. Not consistent, finds fault elsewhere to place blame’s, no control on his crew, BAD COMMUNICATION (communication has always been my problem) and I don’t see how a pastor and basic principles work ethnics are followed for this company. Countless times lied to; even straight to my face just recent I left no choice but to fire the foreman finding my order left outside overnight in cold weather unprotected and lied to straight face. Imagine surviving one tragedy having to rebuild a home and then dealing with a crew like this. In the beginning I sat the owner Glen Jenkins and my attorney down when signing my contract to avoid issues I guess now foreseen. Do your homework wisely, avoid headaches and honestly in all fairness even if a higher price go elsewhere to do business- once trust and respect is gone everything is lost, everything! The worst part there’s never any type of resolving on the owners part- I’m not even sure it’s his company with such “no control on his crew” and payment/contract structures. This mistake cost me financially but just at the point need peace and a clear head - imagine giving a contractor 50% of the contract and not one inspection passed, and have nerve to say in front of his crew I owe him money when in fact educated myself to call the county and he owes based on our contract - smh …. This has been a regret that I must live with and only want peace. So either find a way to resolve but to bring to his attention his workers lies and he admitted he also lied to him; I cannot walk or be left to walk away unjust. The two stars is only bc in the beginning the first two months went smooth. Things happen; delays occur in construction but communication is a must…you will be at his mercy to have to deal verbally despite wanting written updates etc to avoid all these unnecessary headaches. This is current condition of my house 3 months later the actual day of our completion date in contract- of course the blame is shifted elsewhere than the fact did not communicate a new scheduled completion date (it’s on you to have known that).

Details: Permits pulled • Whole home or building • New custom construction • Yes, load-bearing structures are involved • 1,000 - 1,500 sq ft • Home
