$75.00 per hour. These are based on billable hours, including consultation, and time scheduled for design planning and research.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am an avid participant of Pinterest, and do quite a lot of research online. I watch the HGTV design and remodel shows. And keep on hand lots of magazines, Architectural Digest, Antiques, Southern Living, Traditional Home, Cottage Style, many more.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was a Mortgage Loan Operations Manager for 20 years. Although I enjoyed the job, I did not LOVE it. After my second layoff from this industry, I decided to follow my dream of becoming an interior decorator. I have been decorating since I was a teenager. First my mother's home, then helping friends put their spaces together, my own home and now for paying clients.
