Introduction: Dolly Spice holds a B.A. Degree in Music Performance (piano and voice) and Theater Performance from Spring Arbor University, a certificate in Stage Management, and has also completed post-graduate level course-work in elementary education at Liberty University. She has taught in both the private and class-room setting for over a decade and is known for her creative teaching techniques which captivate her students to make learning fun and effective.
In addition to a handful of classical recitals, Dolly's performance repertoire includes several lead roles in musical theater including Maria in The Sound of Music, Maria in West Side Story and Nellie in the musical revue Some Enchanted Evening. She has also performed with a series of rock, indie folk and jazz bands over the years. In 2007, she recorded an album with her Christian rock band Facing Away, which received airtime on several popular radio stations in the upper mid-west. Currently, Dolly sings for important military events while serving in the United States Air Force Reserve and in 2014, released her debut solo album titled Shadows. Dolly is now living in Delaplane, VA with her husband and two sons, where she continues to write and record music, maintains her private home studio, and is enjoying life as a wife, mommy, and music teacher.
