Hailing from St. Croix (US Virgin Islands), Millanine started his DJ’ing career in the backyard studio of the well known sound system Tek9 Movements (VI). His passion for music began from the tender age of 14. He began as an apprentice, learning the ins and outs of the music business and occasionally being present during live recording sessions with various local artists. Millanine specializes in Reggae/ Dancehall, Soca, Hip Hop/ Rap, R&B and Soul, Afrobeats, Top 40 and much more. He has been featured at the Park at 14th (DC), Club Love (DC), Club 54 (VI), Rooftops (VI) and Frontline (VI) just to name a few. His passion and versatility is what makes him stand out the most. Music is a universal language. You can communicate across cultural and linguistic boundaries in way you cannot with ordinary language.
