Introduction: Next Step Language
Is LEARNER CENTERED and uses EXPERIENCE, CLARITY, FUN AND THE OPTIMAL USE OF THE TARGET LANGUAGE
All Next Step courses and tutoring is tailored to reach the goal of the learner. At the beginning of any language learning activity, we will sit down and discuss that goal. Some goals that have been reached so far are; for example, passing tests, getting very good over all grades, using a language to study abroad and general enjoyment.
Because of my many years of experience and my knowledge of language acquisition, I am able to explain the salient points of a language so clearly that there is little room for misunderstanding. One of my bosses also told me that I have a talent for knowing where my learners need help. People have often used the word talent to describe my teaching. I have the experience of learning and teaching four different languages. I understand the teaching of these languages inside and out.
I love learning and teaching languages, and I believe that learning is a pleasure. Studies show that enjoyment increases learning ability. That is one of the reasons that I incorporate fun activities in my teaching. Fun activity is also the perfect place to use the target language in the most meaningful way. When the target language is used for real communication, the LANGUAGE IS BEING SPOKENhey, guess what? Your made it.
So whats great about Next Step? It has been a proven vehicle for reaching languages goals for over three decades. Each learner success is a source of pride.
