Knowing nothing about photo booth rentals, I contacted Cari via Thumbtack. Cari answered all of my questions, provided valuable information, shared her professional experience, and listened to what I specifically wanted for our party......a two hour, pre-Homecoming Party for about 30 teens. Cari was friendly, patient, and very helpful as I made up my mind. She was approachable, and never made me feel like my questions were silly. She is the perfect person to be in a "people" business. Cari and Steve arrived about 2 hours before our party started, and they spend two hours setting up their amazing equipment, gorgeous props (hats, glasses, mustaches, signs, etc). They turned the space into a fantastic, fun phone booth! The kids needed no prodding, and jumped right in! Cari and Steve were fantastic with the kids, and our guests couldn't get enough! My husband (who was reluctant about my idea to do this) could not stop praising their work. I would give them TEN stars if I could! Everything was perfect! If you are thinking of doing a photo booth, CURLYHAT PHOTOBOOTH is THE BEST!!!

Did not work out well for me. First phone call led to an explanation of the owner having trouble with prank calls, so took some convincing I was legit. I had to contact several times to ask about a contract the owner said was required with a down payment after we agreed on the hire and that contract never came. Sept is when I started contact. No contract and I live in Florida but the wedding is in Va. in June, so I waited and then contacted again. Still no contract. Owner stated venue had to be checked, waited, and waited. Owner asked for venue info again. Gave it, waited then 26 days ago from when I first hired in Sept got a random note saying could not work with the venue. Disappointing. I don't know what really took so long. I think checking the venue would take one afternoon in the very beginning and then a quick no and I could move on. Now I hope I can find someone. I don't think it was intentional but I did feel like I got the run around and the old heave ho. I hope not and wish others luck with this vendor, I did not have it. Well thanks anyway and good luck to all the vendors and the patrons. Just keep plugging away and you will find the right one for you. This one was not for me. But thanks anyway.

Hi Debra - Thank you for your honest feedback! Im very sorry to hear you had a bad experience and felt that I wasted your time. We pride ourselves on customer service and we offered to check out the venue for you knowing how hard it is to plan a wedding out of state. However, after meeting with the restaurant manager, it was determined that we were not the best fit for the venue.
