Vicky has been a great fit for our son. He is almost 13, but with the deep voice of a 21-year old. Being autistic, proper singing is not only fun, but also an integral part of breathing and speech for him. Vicky has been knowledgeable and very patient!Jun 17, 2017VerifiedVicky H.'s reply
Thank you for wonderful review!
Vicky is an excellent teacher for my son who is learning guitar. My son has autism and we needed a teacher who could work with him, help him stay focused, and have fun. She is patient, understanding, open to ideas, and very reliable.Nov 22, 2016VerifiedVicky H.'s reply
Thank you, Tamara! Your son has made quite a bit of progress since we've started, and I look forward to watching him grow even more musically, and as a person!
Vicki is a patient teacher and can adapt to different styles depending on your child or adult. She can teach at any level and even can add voice lessons. My son has never been happier!Aug 30, 2016VerifiedVicky H.'s reply
Thank you Sharon! Working with your son has been a fantastic and fun experience! Especially the part where I get to work with another Disney-phile! ☺️

Background check completed
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?Lessons/tutoring are usually taken in quarter hour increments, starting at 30 minutes. 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour, etc. The hourly quote is divided accordingly, depending on the lesson length you desire.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?Voice lessons: First lessons are typically to evaluate vocal range, vocal tone/timbre, vocal quality, and to discuss goals and musical interests. Piano lessons: First lessons are generally used to introduce the student to the instrument, evaluate what he/she knows, and for me to learn how each student learns. We then launch into lesson material based on how much each student knows!
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?Undergrad and graduate work in music.
