- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Our pricing is based on a combination of value provided and time required. Billing for the preparation of tax returns is straight forward. Our price for other services such as tax planning or business consulting depends upon the needs of the client and the complexity of the client's situation. In any case, if new facts arise that will cause our bill to be different from our estimate, we inform our client before doing the extra work.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Both Jim and Holland and Bill Brown take a minimum of 40 contact hours of continuing professional education each year. In most years, each exceeds this minimum required by law for all CPAs.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Our most common service is the preparation of income tax returns for individuals and businesses. We also frequently help clients resolve tax liability issues with the IRS, usually with a reduction in the amount due as originally assessed by the IRS.
