Introduction: The Jack Winn-Tet, a four-piece band, consists of alto sax-vocals, drums, piano, and bass. The band's repertoire is extensive, including standard selections from the '30s and '40s, Latin, light rock, and other specials. The Jack Winn-Tet will add to your wedding receptions and special parties, and of course, dances. They've performed for numerous private functions to include: • Anniversary celebrations • Corporate parties • Reunions • Wedding receptions During the past 5 years, the band has played for many engagements for early bar and dining hours at local restaurants in the Richmond area. Jack Winn originally formed the Jack-Winn-Tet in the early '60s; he reformed it after his retirement as a major school system's performing arts supervisor. Upon reflecting back to sounds of old standards and jazz that were famous when he was a college music major, he was motivated by many to bring back that sound for today's audiences. After the effort was made, the musicians were found who captured the mood and beat with finesse to make the band’s music satisfying to the dancer and the listener. The Jack Winn-Tet makes the effort to please the listening and dancing crowd, with music that is never too loud for a conversation.
