Chesterfield GDC - 2 Charges: (1) DWI, 1st Offense Involving Accident. Result: DWI, 1st Offense Reduced to Reckless Driving. (2) Show Cause - Failure to Appear. Result: Dismissed.
Hampton GDC - Charge: DWI, First Offense, BAC 0.20%. Result: Reduced to Reckless Driving as defined under 46.2-852. Finalized December 20, 2023.
Chesterfield GDC - Charge: Reckless Driving by Speed (87/55). Result: Dismissed upon payment of court costs.
Chesapeake GDC - Charge: Reckless Driving by Speed (96/60). Result: Dismissed. Finalized January 11, 2024.
Prince William GDC - Charge: Reckless Driving by Speed (87/55). Result: Client had a prior Reckless Driving charge. The charge was still reduced to a regular speeding ticket with a $250.00 fine.
Newport News GDC - Charge: Reckless Driving by Speed (63/35). Result: Reckless Driving reduced to Defective Speedometer under 46.2-1080.
Fairfax County General District Court - Charge: DWI, First Offense. Result: Dismissal by Nolle Prosequi.
Hanover GDC - Charge: DWI, Second Offense within 5 to 10 years. Result: DWI, Second Offense reduced to Reckless Driving Generally as defined under 46.2-852 with $250.00 fine. The court did not impose a suspended jail sentence, license suspension or ASAP.
Fairfax GDC - Charge: Reckless Driving Generally involving accident. Result: Reckless Driving amended to Improper Driving. This result avoided a criminal conviction and license suspension.
Fairfax GDC - 2 Charges: (1) DWI: First Offense reduced to Reckless Driving as defined under 46.2-852. (2) Fail to Appear for Arraignment. Result: Dismissed.
Hampton Circuit Court - Charge: Reckless Driving by Speed. Result: The judge dismissed the case since the client did not receive any additional violations for a period of six months. I only represented the client in her appeal in Hampton Circuit Court.
Northumberland GDC - Charge: Reckless Driving Generally involving citizen complaint. Result: Client was found NOT GUILTY.
Suffolk General District Court - 2 Charges: (1) Reckless Driving by Speed. Result: Dismissed. (2) No Driver's License. Result: Dismissed.
New Kent GDC - Charge: Reckless Driving by Speed (91/70). Result: Class 1 Misdemeanor reduced to regular speeding ticket with fine.
Fairfax County GDC - Charge: Reckless Driving by Speed (93/55). Result: Class 1 Misdemeanor reduced to Speeding (74/55).
Newport News GDC - 2 Charges: (1) DWI, 1st Offense. Result: DWI, 1st Offense Reduced to Reckless Driving. (2) Fail to Obey Highway Marking. Result: Dismissal by Nolle Prosequi.
Warren GDC - Charge: Reckless Driving by Speed (99/70). Result: Class 1 Misdemeanor Amended to Improper Driving with a $250.00 fine.
Williamsburg GDC - Charge: Driving on Suspended/Revoked License. Result: Class 1 Misdemeanor Amended to Fail to Carry/Exhibit License with $25.00 fine. This result avoided a criminal conviction and mandatory license suspension.
King George GDC - Charge: Reckless Driving by Speed (76/50). Result: Dismissed.
Chesapeake GDC - Charge: Reckless Driving by Speed (93/60). Result: Class 1 misdemeanor reduced to Improper Driving. This result avoided a criminal conviction and possible license suspension.
Virginia Beach GDC - Charge: Capias/Failure to Appear. Approach and Result: A hearing was requested on behalf of client who was out to sea. The judge agreed to withdraw the arrest warrant, and the case was continued to the trial date.
Newport News GDC - Charge: Reckless Driving by Speed (97/65). Result: This case was appealed to the Newport News Circuit Court.
Chesterfield GDC - 2 Charges: (1) Fail to Stop at the Scene of an Accident ("Hit and Run"). Result: Dismissed. (2) Fail to Obey Highway Lane Marking. Result: Dismissed.
