Lisa has been great. She came over before I hired her so we could discuss the expectation and she could meet my dog and make sure they were "compatible." She even took her for a walk right then and there! Every day, she leaves me detailed notes on how her visit with Harley went, and she's offered some great tips on how to deal with Harley's separation anxiety!Nov 5, 2015Verified
I hired Lisa to walk my German Shepherd puppy and play with her for a half hour 3 times a week. She has been very helpful, organized and has always wanted to make sure she is staying consistent with what we do with her as her owners. I'm so thankful we a good, reliable walker like her.Dec 1, 2015VerifiedLisa's Lavish Leash- BEST OF 2015-2016 AWARD RECIPIENT's reply
Thanks, Stephanie! How thoughtful of you to take the time to write this review. Your puppy is such a joy to work with; I truly enjoy my time with her and am looking forward to watching her grow up!
Lisa has been amazing for our goolden doodle Jayden. She needs so much play time and interaction to be tired and is always so happy and ready for bed when we come home. Lisa takes her to dog parks, to other dogs houses for visits, and leaves notes about her day for us. We seriously have so much peace of mind using Lisa for Jayden. Seeing the pictures and reading about her day is the best. 10 out of 10!!Oct 4, 2016Verified
I hired Lisa to care for two Great Danes and a Boxer for the weekend so all of our family could vacation together. She was awesome in keeping the dogs on their schedule with feeding and letting out. She sent me texts each day to let me know how they were doing. It was such a relief to entrust our pets to a reliable, capable and caring pet care provider.Aug 23, 2015Verified
Lisa was great! She was flexible and and fairly priced to work with me and my pet's needs for my weekend away! I came home to happy animals with everything just as I left it! Lisa gave each of my animals (a dog and cat) individual attention and I can tell my dog is worn out from a weekend of playing and getting spoiled rotten. Thank you Lisa for taking such great care of my "children!"Mar 1, 2015VerifiedLisa's Lavish Leash- BEST OF 2015-2016 AWARD RECIPIENT's reply
Kenzie and Tiggy were great! It helped that you gave thorough directions for me. Because you said it was fine, Kenzie (the dog) spent the night at my place and we played in the yard; I threw snowballs and she fetched. She learned to use a doggie door and took a nap with my cat, Scooter! So, I am not surprised to hear that she was worn out. I would be more than happy to take care of your "children" anytime! It was my pleasure. Thanks again!
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?I am told that my rates are not as high as they should be, but I have several clients in the same building, for instance, and it requires less travel time for me, so when this happens, I can charge everyone less. Additionally, if a new client refers me to a friend or colleague and I am hired, I offer them a credit for the referral.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer? The first thing I do is arrange a complimentary home visit. I think it's imperative that the client, as well their pets I would be responsible for, feel comfortable with me, and likewise. I also offer a list of references for the potential new client to contact. All of my clients have given me permission to use them for reference purposes.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?I volunteer at a local shelter, and I also clicker train my dog. I am certified in animal CPR and am able to administer medications, as well. Additionally, I am trained in the eCollar behavior modification system for dogs and utilize it daily with a dog I visit daily.
