Hired on Thumbtack

I would rate Atlas Roofing and Masonry 10 stars if I could, based on the stellar job Mr. Peter Moore and his experienced crew performed in replacing our old asphalt driveway with a beautiful, brick-patterned, stamped concrete driveway. We spent more than 30 hours online, researching various driveway types and the materials and processes involved in each. Then we obtained seven estimates from companies that were highly rated on Washington Consumer Checkbook, Google, and Thumbtack. Mr. Moore so impressed us with his patient, detailed responses to our several emails with many technical questions, then made two visits to our house to elaborate upon his initial and very reasonable estimate, then came again before actual installation to show us color choices. His solicitude in helping us evaluate options and in providing complete customer satisfaction was very impressive, and we concluded with full confidence that a stamped concrete driveway from Atlas was the best choice for us.

It was always a pleasure to work with Mr. Moore before, during, and after the project. In fact, he and his crew encountered a significant difficulty in removing all the old asphalt, yet he would not revise his estimate to reflect all the additional work required. Then he came back after receiving the final check, to attend to a couple of small details that were barely noticeable. They are a company that truly stands behind its work.

We are so happy that we gave the job to Atlas, a company that provided exceptional service and a quality product, that we will probably hire Atlas to replace our roof in a year or two. They have our highest recommendation.

Scheduled and confirmed a consultation appointment. They never showed up or reached out to cancel.

UPDATE: Misunderstanding for which he was very apologetic. He was able to provide a quote and was professional with fair pricing. I cannot speak for work quality as I decided to move forward with a different company.
