We needed some financial paperwork notarized within a weeks’ time and J&J Signings were right on the task. They gave us the option of digital or in-person and we opted for digital. They stuck with us through a few technology snafus and helped us get everything working. The whole process was 15 minutes from end to end. I will definitely work with them again!

My spouse and I needed a document notarized ASAP. We preferred a mobile notary. We interviewed a few by phone. We chose Jaida Chandler on her professionalism, knowledge and willingness to easily accommodate our needs promptly. She was easy to understand and explained the process very well. Her prices are great and are based on law. She devoted a lot of her time to us. She stayed in constant daily contact, updating us and walking us through the entire online procedure. She resolved a technical issue on my end. She was patient when I asked her several questions. She is trustworthy and made us feel comfortable and secure.   • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

    VA state law requires a charge of no more than $5 per document notarization for in-person services and $25 per document for e-notarizations. I am willing to travel, but at a cost. My travel fee is a $10 flat rate for any customers within 5 miles of my office in the 23225 zip code. Anything outside that 5 mile radius will be a $2 charge per mile on top of the flat rate. If your documents are needed to be printed I am also willing to provide that as well. This is my administrative fee starting at $5 per 10 pages. Anything after 10 pages will be $.25 per page. If you have any questions or concerns we can definitely discuss what works best for you!

  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?

    We will begin with the message and a phone call. Once we make it to the phone call, we will discuss the details of your documents, what kind of services you would need, your availability, and the fees. Once we have agreed to the terms and condition we will schedule the appointment. You will receive a confirmation text and email from me 24 hours before your appointment. If you need to cancel at anytime within the 24 hours of your scheduled appointment please contact me as soon as possible and we can reschedule. The day of your appointment please come with your documents, valid identification, and any questions or concerns you may have. After we review and verify everything, I will notarize your documents. This process time can vary but typically doesn’t take longer than 10-15 mins. I am here to make everything go smoothly!

  • How did you get started doing this type of work?

    Back in 2019, I became a notary while working for a bank. My stamp was only used for business needs at the time, but after only 2 years of having it the bank stopped offering notary services. There are so many people who need notary services and I seen the frustration from people once we stopped offering them notary assistance. So here we are four years later looking to provide services to help others without being chaotic and stressful. I am here to help in any way possible!!
